Logan Mitchell

Logan is a Ph.D. Graduate Research Assistant in the (CL)2EAR group.  His main research topic is investigating the radiative properties of aerosols, especially in the ultraviolet spectrum.  Originally from the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area, he is a 2018 alumnus of Western Kentucky University, having completed a B.S. in Meteorology and a B.A. in Chinese, along with minors in Hydrology, GIS, and Math.  His undergraduate honors research thesis was on the UHI effect in Kentucky.  He previously worked for the Kentucky Mesonet and the WKU CHNGES hydrology research group.
